Father Rungi, an Italian Catholic priest, is not one to shy away from controversy. In August, we reported that he planned on organizing a Nun Beauty Pageant, which shocked old fashioned catholics and angered certain priests, bishops and also the pope, because they didn't want their alter boys to feel left out.

Father Rungi has now responded to the muslic cleric who has told Muslim women to wear a full veil that reveals only one eye. This cleric, who goes by the name Sheikh Muhammad al-Habadan (we sent a letter to the Pentagon asking them to confirm this man's identity but they have not replied), said that women who show both of their eyes to the public look too seductive and encourage muslim men to have wicked thoughts.

In response to Sheikh Muhammad al-Habadan's declaration, Father Rungi released the following statement:

"This is wrong. A woman's eyes are a beautiful thing. A woman's physique is a spectacular work of art, constructed by God. The veil must go! I invite all Muslim women to come to my confessional and disrobe themselves in front of the Lord."

The challenge has been issued and it will be interesting to see if Muslim women across the world take Father Rungi up on his challenge to disrobe themselves in front of the Lord and confess their sins.
