The United States of America is a great country but somewhere along the way, the left wing socialists took control of all the major television networks in their country. On June 18, 2008, CNN ran a classic hit piece disguised as unbiased commentary.

Renowned socialist Jack Cafferty assailed McCain, going as far as comparing him to the traitor known as John Kerry. He blasted McCain for reversing his position on several key issues, such as the war in Iraq, the environment, torture and tax credits.

I suppose Mr. Cafferty expects John McCain to stick with his original views on issues instead of continuing to review new information and updating his stance on issues that will shape the world. For instance, in the past John McCain didn't exactly approve of waging war against Iraq. However, over time he realized that it was the correct decision. The intelligence data he reviewed helped him form a new opinion on the matter. One could argue that his opinion evolved but that word has negative connotations so it's best not to make that argument.

The liberal media in the U.S.A. is so blinded by their love of communism that they have already forgotten the great sacrifices John McCain made for his country. Their despicable treatment of a war hero is disgraceful. John McCain has saved hundreds of lives. When terrorists took over a a building in Los Angeles, John McCain single handedly took down the entire terrorist group, saving countless lives in the meantime.

Perhaps it's time for the communists at CNN to refresh their memories and think about how the world became a little safer after John McCain eradicated Hans Gruber.
