An Italian priest, who is apparently sick of leering at alter boys all day long, has decided that it's time for nuns to earn their keep and shake their money maker... all in the name of the Lord of course. The pageant will be called Miss Sister 2008.
"Nuns are above all women and beauty is a gift from God," he told Italy's Corriere della Sera newspaper. He then issued a challenge to Muslim women. "I look at these misguided women, who are covered from head to toe, and I think to myself that a lot of them must be fit. It's hard to tell but I'm sure many of them have an outstanding physique. I challenge them to renounce Islam and disrobe themselves in front of our true Lord and Saviour."
The Priest, Father Rungi, admitted that not all priests were in favour of having the pageant. "I have had some e-mails from priests who perhaps have not grasped the evangelizing spirit of the initiative, or the potential of the internet, which is a marvellous tool for spreading the Christian message. Some of these priests have expressed concern that our alter boys will feel left out and confused and have suggested that we run 2 pageants at the same time."
For now, Father Rungi will put the idea of an alter boy pageant on hold, risking the wrath of thousands of priests and dozens of bishops, not to mention one Pope. Even if the pageant is a complete failure, Father Rungi hopes that, at the very least, this competition will prove that Nuns are hotter than the infidel Muslim women who refuse to show the world their "outstanding physiques".
