Recent Survey Indicates That 8 Percent of Americans are Infidels

The Los Angeles Times has published an article that shockingly reveals the sad fact that only 92% of Americans believe in God. This coincides with several recent surveys that indicate fewer Americans are attending Church on a regular basis. Americans are unknowingly sealing their own fate and orchestrating the demise of the free world by shunning God.

Christianity has grown and survived because their Church's were always filled with believers who gladly donated a small percentage of their wealth for the common good. If the Church's coffers are not replenished frequently then how will the Church fund missions against rival "religions"? Apathy and confusion over the one true religion is exactly what Osama Bin Laden wants. While he's out there collecting donations from the evil doers, Christians have stopped giving money to their local Church.

If this trend continues it will create a devastating downward spiral effect. First, Church's will not be able to pay their Priests. This will lead to a decline in the amount of Priests employed in the U.S.A. and subsequently, a decline in the amount of children that are molested. Although this will be a good thing for alter boys, it will lead to fewer masses and slowly but surely, a decline in the amount of believers.

Most right minded people need to believe in something, so if their Church stops delivering frequent services, they will look elsewhere. Where will they turn? There are several cults waiting in the wings, including Islam and Scientology. They will snatch up most of the confused Christians and rest assured, they will collect donations from these troubled souls.

This is why it's important for us Canadians to convince our confused neighbours that it's important to go to Church every day. We can't allow the terrorists to win.

Hey, F*** you.

oh my god... The most retarded, bullshit, ignorant, propagandistic piece of shit I've read all day.

Elitist drivel, kind of funny though in its own sad satirical way. Funny in a way that you have to laugh at the idiocy of the ignorance. However, Canada thinking it should(could) help the US is equally if not more laughable.

Just look at the title of that bullshit latimes story:

"Survey shows Californians less religious than rest of nation"

Have you seen that episode of south park, ya know, the one where kyle's family moves to cali and they love the smell of their own farts?

Also another interesting fact that this canuck left out is that his/her "92%" bullshit really states:

"* Ninety-two percent of Americans believe in the existence of God or a universal spirit, even as many shun weekly worship services;"

It's fucking retarded that this elitist anti-american bullshit goes on to assume for you that the "92% of these devout religious nutjobs" are also christian.

This fucking moron who wrote this also says: "Most right minded people need to believe in something, so if their Church stops delivering frequent services, they will look elsewhere. Where will they turn?"

Yes, when relating that statement to the authors false statistic that "92% of americans believe in god" that satire might have been humorous. However the statistic he used was morphed to fit his/her "america is full of christian fanatic retards" agenda. 92% of americans believe in a god or a spirit.

Its the same thing with bebi's editorial Army of God. Pick on America because of the majority of christians. Make sure to hide the extremely large number of Muslims, Buddhists, Hindu's and deists. We've gotta keep up the stereotype to spread more ignorance!

Fuck you author. I hope america nukes your whiney little liberal ass.

(for the record I am NOT christian or religious what so ever)

Pay attention to the world around you, numnuts

Dear J3ff (wow, you must really be super cool since you replace the letter e with the number 3),

Please note that this is a serious Website. I had to edit your subject line because it contained an obscenity. This is not myspace. You are not allowed to post such vulgarities and expect to get away with it.

I decided not to delete your entire reply because I wanted to show the world how ignorant your views truly are. You are a classic example of an ignorant infidel. You admited that you are not religious at all so you might be wondering why I'm wasting my time replying to someone who will burn in hell. Well, I'm not actually replying as a courtesy to you, the ignorant infidel, I'm replying to give a proper response so that my Canadian followers will understand why I did not delete your reply.

If you knew anything about the United States of America, you would know that it's a Christian country, founded on Christian beliefs. While it's true that a small percentage of their population is Muslim do you honestly believe we should count these people? If we count them then shouldn't we also count the Scientologists, Baptists and Raelians? Think about that for a while Mr. J3ff.

As for the other drivel you posted about satire and stereotypes, it makes me wonder if you actually read the article in addition to reading the headline.

It's people like you who give Americans a bad name.

none

So you call non-christians infidels? You know who else does that? Terrorists. Unfair comparison? Perhaps, but no more unfair than yours.

This country was founded on a principle of religious freedom, not Christianity. Christianity is what the pilgrims left, because it was too tyrannical and oppressive, which is exactly what Christianity in this country has become. History has a funny way of repeating itself when the denizens of the present are either too ignorant or too stupid to pay attention to it.

But, honestly, I don't know why I'm even typing this; there is no way any sort of logical argument is going to get through your thick, comfortable blanket of ignorance and crazed ideology.

Christ told you to love thy neighbor, not call him an infidel.

Try turning the other cheek for once, like your book says.

Good point, but...

Good morning and good afternoon, hawkeye18. You have raised a few interesting points but you seem a bit confused so I would like to take this time to clear any confusion you may have about Christianity and what us Christians stand for and believe in.

You said, "So you call non-christians infidels? You know who else does that? Terrorists. Unfair comparison? Perhaps, but no more unfair than yours."

True. However, we all know that terrorists are insane and believe in the wrong God so that comparison must be thrown out the window as it's out of line and outrageous.

You said, "This country was founded on a principle of religious freedom, not Christianity."

No sir, this country was indeed founded on Christian beliefs. The term "religious freedom" is an abomination to both religion and common sense. We can all agree that there can only be one true religion. One religion that is factual. The rest are either extremely distorted or completely fictional.

You said, "Christ told you to love thy neighbor, not call him an infidel."

Yes, but he also said, "You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife" but that doesn't stop my neighbour from sneaking a peak, does it?

hawkeye18, let's stop being politically correct and call an infidel an infidel. If we simply ignore the problem then it will embolden the infidels. We must face our enemies but in order to do this we must first identify them. In order to identify them we must label them. That is why I call these people infidels. If I didn't, then how would my followers be able to identify our enemies?

why do you need enemies?

"That is why I call these people infidels. If I didn't, then how would my followers be able to identify our enemies?"

Sounds like a terrorist to me... why do you need enemies? People like you are the true "infidels" because you want to kill everyone who's different from you. What are you so afraid of? If the rapture comes then you will be saved and we will all be gone anyway, right? Or is it that you're afraid of the possibility that all you've believed in your whole life might be wrong? What is it? Why don't you just relax and sit in your room praying all the time and save yourself rather than pull us into your fantasy world of religion?

Enemies don't wait for an invitation

Once again, ignoring problems won't make them disappear. The communists, terrorists and Oprah Winfrey lovers of the world will not hesitate to decapitate you or anyone else who refuses to abide by their ruthless beliefs.

For the record, I do not wish to "kill everyone" who's different than me. I am a politician, not a mercenary and I certainly do not have ill will towards people who are simply different than me.

Sitting around praying accomplishes nothing. Do you really believe that God rewards those who whine and complain to Him every day? No, of course not. He rewards those who take action. Do you think it's a coincidence that He started communicating with George W. Bush shortly after Bush declared his intentions to eradicate terrorism? I think not.

As for my "fantasy world", you should realize that certain prominent philosophers believed that fantasy is reality and reality is fantasy. Perhaps you have fooled yourself into believing that you can tell the difference, but clearly you can't differentiate between the two since you appear to believe that you live in a peaceful world where mortal enemies do not exist. Then again, is there really a difference between the two? I know the answer but it depends on many variables and the amount of enemies circulating around the globe is one of them.

trolling the untrollable

YAWN. You think I take you seriously? You are probably sitting there with you pimp daddy glasses and blinged out skull hoody and Dell notebook. Trying to personify american christians with your WEAK, repeat WEAK attempt at making me look stupid just because I use the handle j3ff. You are trying to troll the untrollable here and you are using an old trolling method where you pretend to be an extremist christian to piss people off.

Been there done that. Come up with some original because you will never fool a fucking faggot such as myself, j3ff. (ohh plz dont censor me mr harrynads the internet is the last free place we have thanks to you god damn liberals)

The contents of this reply have been slightly edited by Harry Nads. Gotta love these Texans who replace the letter e with the number 3!

Come on people

You know we should really be careful telling other people what they should be doing or not doing. You want to go to church and be a christian? Great, more power to you. If you want to slather bear fat on your naked body and dance under the full moon to worship Baal? Fantastic, keep it up.
The problem comes in when people afraid of change attempt to force a situation (ie lets keep this country christian or that country muslim), usually it doesn't stop the majority of people with free thinking to change and causes division of a people. How about...and this is perhaps a bit extreme...we just accept our brothers and sisters of the world for who and what they are and not worry so much about who is right or who is wrong. Remember accepting the sinner and fighting the sin so that we may lead by example and not by command is what jesus would have done. As for myself I left the church after studying to become a pastor because when read in the original greek and hebrew (that IS what the original bible was written in) the bible had to many contradictions which I (I am stressing myself not you or anyone else) could not consolidate.

Retorte to commentor

The more you give a shit about thier nonsense the more nonsense they will create.

Stop giving a shit lol

Wow

I haven't read anything this out of touch with reality in a long time. I don't know how people like you function in the real world. You are a nutjob.
